Background

As the Faculty Affairs and Policy Specialist, Caroline is responsible for a variety of tasks including coordinating and supervising the university’s policy review and approval processes, comprehensive reviews of academic deans, and managing complex administrative activities and special projects for Vice Provost and Dean of Faculty, Cheryl L. Addy.

Before joining the University of South Carolina in 2018, she worked at the Department of Revenue as an Income Office Auditor and at the Department of Administration working with the planning of state house events, communications and commercial real estate planning with various state agencies.

Currently, Caroline is the Regional Director of Legislative Affairs for the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students - Southeast and the Secretary of Women’s Affairs (2022-23) for the Graduate Student Association as well as active in Staff Senate and the Provost’s Advisory Committee for Women’s Initiatives (PACWI) at the university. She completed her Master of Public Administration in May 2022 and will begin the Ph.D. in Political Science program in Fall 2022.
