Research Administrators: Two spots left for the 2022-2023 GRANT Certificate Program

Registration is now open for the 2022-2023 GRANT Certificate Program, with only two spaces left. The Gamecock Research Administrators Network Training (GRANT) Certificate Program prepares research administrators to work with faculty in their departments to manage the administrative functions related to grants and sponsored awards. GRANT guides research staff through the ins and outs of grant administration, from pre- to post-award functions, with instruction from administrators from the UofSC offices of Sponsored Awards Management, Grants and Funds Management and more. Register today for one of the remaining two slots for the 2022-2023 GRANT class, starting this fall. (Research administrators who register after the final 2022-2023 seats have been filled will be added to the waitlist for 2023-2024.)

Office of the Vice President for Research seeks input on future workshops

With the summer months comes time for planning, and the Office of the Vice President for Research is busy planning new programming for faculty researchers next academic year. One program we plan to offer in the coming months is a series of 90-minute workshops on the fundamentals of successfully applying for research funding from specific federal agencies. To help us identify the agencies most in-demand by faculty, we invite all UofSC faculty researchers to provide input via our 2022-2023 Short Workshops Interest Form.
