Course Overview

The Center for Teaching Excellence currently provides full-time faculty (at USC Columbia, Palmetto College, and Schools of Medicine campuses) with complimentary access to the Teaching with AI course developed by Auburn University.  This self-paced course helps instructors explore practical ways to integrate generative AI into teaching and learning, including strategies for course design, assignment development, and responsible AI use in the classroom.

Important Update: Free Access Ending

Due to the conclusion of our current agreement with Auburn, complimentary access to this course through CTE will be ending soon.

Key Dates

  • March 31: Final date to register for free access through CTE
  • May 1: Final date for currently registered participants to access and complete the course.

Faculty who register by March 31 will continue to have access to the course through May 1

After March 31

Complimentary registration through CTE will close on March 31. Faculty who register by that date will retain access to the course through May 1. After March 31, the course will remain available for $89 per participant when registering directly through Auburn University.
