Tableau users from UofSC are invited to attend the first Tableau Day on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Tableau is a secure, flexible, and powerful end-to-end data analytics platform used by universities, industries, and nonprofit organizations across the globe.
Tableau Day is completely virtual and will focus on how UofSC data users are leveraging visual analytics, making data-driven decisions, and building data culture. This is a great opportunity to learn, network, and share ideas with other Tableau users.
Senior Director of Analytics Rob Gibbons from UofSC Advancement Services will share how University Development utilizes Tableau. Sara Reinhardt, UofSC information systems analyst, will also share tips and ideas. See Sara’s abstract below.
Registration is free. To sign up and see the full schedule, click here.
"While Tableau has traditionally been used in large business sectors, it has begun
to become increasingly popular in higher education. In the Fall of 2020, Enrollment
Data Analytics began using Tableau for internal data visualizations after previously
using PowerBI. Tableau has been beneficial for Student Affairs data and has added
value to the EDA office. I will be discussing the benefits of Tableau and how it has
helped share data among stakeholders."
