Beginning the week of June 13, 2022, several new IT security features will be enabled across the university system. These features will further protect the UofSC Community from malicious email messages or attachments that could compromise their accounts and university assets. • Safe Attachments: All email attachments will be scanned for malicious content before sending/receiving in UofSC accounts. 
• Safe Links: The appearance of hyperlinks in emails may look different.  
• Reporting Phishing: A “Report Phishing” add-on will appear in Outlook that lets you indicate an email is a phishing attempt.
