Why you chose to pursue you degree within ASPH: I chose to pursue a degree within the Arnold School of Public Health because of the endless opportunities it offers for learning and advancement. From my first visit to the Arnold School, I was immediately hooked and excited to begin my academic journey here. Public health is truly the backbone of our everyday lives, influencing everything from individual well-being to community health initiatives. What I enjoy most is the opportunity to learn about healthcare from both the clinical and administrative perspective. With the Arnold School, I am able to understand how care is delivered and how systems can be improved to serve populations more effectively, ultimately shaping me into a well-rounded future clinician. 

Advice for future students: My advice for future students would be to take every day one day one step at a time. I know how easy it is to feel overwhelmed when you’re trying to balance relationships, academics, and constantly thinking about what’s next. Instead, my advice is to focus on the present and keep pushing forward. Every day is a chance to become 1% better. Take advantage of opportunities that push you out of your comfort zone, and don’t be afraid to take risks because these are the things that end up shaping your entire college journey.
