Involvement on Campus: Undergraduate Research Assistant, Exercise Science Club, Carolina Med Tech Club, Capstone Scholar
Why you chose to pursue a degree within the ASPH: I have always been passionate about both sports performance and health science, so I knew studying exercise science was the right path for me. I chose ASPH because of its highly ranked exercise science program and the many opportunities it offers to get involved outside of the classroom. After graduating, I plan to attend PT school, and I know ASPH will set me up for success by providing a strong foundation to build on. In just my first year at the Arnold School, there have already been many great opportunities to get involved in clubs, research, and organizations, which have been valuable for my development both academically and professionally.
Advice for future students: My advice to future students would be to find clubs, research opportunities, and organizations that you are passionate about and get involved in them. Take the time to make connections and get to know your peers, professors, and everyone else around you because it will help you grow both academically and personally.
