Research and Teaching Interests
Caleb Morris is a professional track faculty member in the Department of Exercise Science, where he teaches the Practicum courses for undergraduate students. He also advises undergraduate Exercise Science and Public Health majors as a member of the Undergraduate Student Affairs advising team. Caleb has worked professionally in higher education for five years, with experience in college access programs, student success initiatives, and student transitions across the college life cycle. In 2022, Caleb was recognized by the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA) with the nationally competitive Outstanding Advisor Award. A champion of inclusion and equity, he has received institutional awards for leading DEI efforts in academic advising and has presented and published on the topic. Caleb earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs, both from the University of South Carolina.
