Sara Sayers is interested in investigating the relationship between language impairment and response to treatment in patients with chronic aphasia to better predict aphasia treatment outcomes with the Center for the Study of Aphasia Recovery. As a part of the Aging Brain Cohort, she is interested in studying how peoples’ brain health changes as they get older as well as the impact of COVID-19 to improve our understanding of the negative effects on the brain, thinking, language, physical and mental health.
