Hear it from the Partners

"We turned to CARE when we received a large grant that required multiple forms of support, from evaluation to vetting technology vendors to facilitating meetings with the tech group. They also created a rubric tool to guide our eRegistry Technology AdHoc experts in evaluating advanced care planning technology platforms for the launch of our eRegistry that creates rapid access for POST (Physician Orders for Scope of Treatment) and Advanced Directives. It was a very involved process, with CARE working at the highest level down to nuanced detail. One of CARE’s greatest strengths is their flexibility—they felt like an extension of my own staff. They are down to earth, approachable, and warm, they were so patient whenever changes had to be made. The team at CARE is responsive and engaged, I never felt like they were too busy to take a call. In fact, I felt like our My LIfe My Choices Advance Care Planning project was the only project they were working on."

The craft and impact of primary prevention efforts and systems change is often a difficult story to tell. As a statewide leader who seeks large-scale transformation to benefit children and families, an intermediary organization who works alongside partners to strengthen communities, and as a continuous advocate for children, we know there cannot be wide scale impact without systems-level change and continuous assessment of strategies and implementation efforts. Over the past decade, the team at CARE has been an integral part of allowing us to address the needs of our partners and help them build capacity to better serve their families and communities. Partnering with this wonderful team to help evaluate strategies and build strong continuous quality improvement initiatives has allowed us to truly move a needle in child abuse prevention and child well-being. CARE has been invaluable to our work and story.”

“ The CARE team feels like part of our Center’s extended family. The team members are professional and highly effective, but also their approach to the work is one built on relationships of trust, open and flexible attitudes, willingness to pivot when necessary, and honest feedback. When they’re working alongside us to evaluate the goals of the Community Health Worker Institute, they are truly engaged, and we feel like our mission is their mission. From qualitative reports, to statewide surveys, to long-term return on investment studies, CARE has always shown up and been there 100%. Based on our first three years of working with them, we’re moving forward with planning the next three with them as our partners.”
