The Division of Information Technology will update the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager servers to the latest version. Desktop SA computers will begin to receive the updates beginning Tuesday, January 23rd. Clients not managed by DoIT will be updated via an automated process beginning Thursday, January 25th at 8:00AM. Users will receive a message that they need to restart their computer. The restart will not be forced.

Carolina Card will be patched at 6 a.m. and Millennium (Development Office) at 8 a.m. The servers will be restarted following the patch installation and should be available for users no later than 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. respectively.

Microsoft security patches will be applied to Data Warehouse servers on Thursday at 6:00pm. Cognos will be brought down at 5:45pm and servers will be restarted following the patch installation. Once the servers have restarted, the Cognos services must be manually restarted. Cognos users will not be able to access the system until after these manual restarts. Cognos should be available for users no later than 8:00pm.
