Middle School Day

The College of Engineering and Computing hosts an annual learning experience for sixth through eighth grade students. The middle school students spend the day engaging in various experiments and learning experiences with our faculty and students, learning about various fields of engineering and computing.

About the Event

This annual outreach event is free of charge and open to any middle school class of 20-25 students, preferably science, math, or engineering classes. Teachers and/or chaperones must stay with the class while they are on campus. Space is limited. Teachers will have the opportunity to pick topic preferences after their application has been received.

Last year we hosted students on Thursday, October 10, 2019. They learned about biomedical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science!

Thank you to everyone that joined us!

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
