Terri Moorer is the Newsplex program coordinator and college grant administrator. Her responsibilities include the coordination of Newsplex training events as well as processing travel, purchase requisitions, expense reports and invoices.
As grant administrator, Moorer coordinates federal, state, private foundation and internal grants from various university sources. Moorer seeks funding opportunities, works with the principle investigator to submit the proposal, creates and reviews budgets, monitors federal and state compliance and creates payroll documents for cost sharing and salary offsets, purchasing etc.
Moorer was previously employed by the Associated Press as office manager/state election coordinator. She also served as news manager and assistant to the news director at WIS-TV.
