Background
Saud Alyaqout is a Kuwaiti citizen in his first year as a doctoral student in the University of South Carolina Mass Communication program. He was always fascinated by the diversity in discourse among different countries and cultures.
He chose to pursue his Ph.D. in mass communication to add to the educational pool; he genuinely believes that being a scholar, as his religion dictates, is the highest status a man can reach.
Off-campus, he blogs about watches, enjoys traveling, cooking, and listening to classical, blues, and jazz on his old hi-fi system or live.
