Students from the College of Information and Communications will gather for a chance to develop professional connections with alumni, begin building their networks and get coached by industry leaders.
Throughout the year, students and their alumni mentors will check in with each other, discuss their industry, schedule job shadowing if possible and more. Each month will have a theme to help steer the conversation.
While the majority of our mentoring relationships are within Columbia, we welcome and encourage alumni living in other parts of the country to mentor a student in a virtual environment.
New this Year
In-person meetings will not be required so that out-of-state alumni may fully participate, and our fall launch event scheduled for September 19 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. will be for students only.
Students will receive not only their matches for the year, but also tips and tricks to make the most out of the program at the launch event. Mentors will not attend the launch event and will be informed of their matches in advance.
