CEC Students Hosting Fix-IT Computer Day

Let Us Help With Your Computer Woes

Computer running slow? Think you have a virus? No problem! On March 5th, 2016 the student chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery  (ACM), the Cyber Security Club, and the Eclub will host a Fix-IT Day at UofSC. The event is free and open to the community. It will be held at the Swearingen Engineering Center (315 Main St., Columbia, SC) from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.

To ensure that every computer is serviced by 3:00p.m., we will only accept problem computers between 9:00a.m. and 12:00p.m.  Services include virus and spyware removal, operating system installation, hardware diagnostics, general troubleshooting and simple software installation. The students will service laptops, desktops, Mac, Windows and Linux.

*A disclaimer from our students --  We will try to solve any problem you are having to the best of our abilities, but some problems may be out of our purview. Also, if you want us to install an operating system or similar software for you,  you will need to supply the CD with the software and the installation key.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
