| Description: | Dr. Sasanakul’s current research focuses on impacts of natural hazards, such as floods, earthquakes, and hurricanes, on civil infrastructure systems. Her research optimizes the use of advanced geotechnical laboratory testing, centrifuge modelling, and field investigation to better understand soil-behavior and soil-structure interaction and emphasize its implications in engineering practice. |
