Prior to joining the Honors College, Kevin spent approximately 10 years working with students in various capacities from residence life initiatives to academic interventions.  Most recently Kevin was a First-Year/Undergraduate Academic Advisor in the University Advising Center & College of Information and Communications.

Kevin is a native of Hendersonville, NC, and graduated from Western Carolina University with his masters of education in college student personnel. Kevin completed his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in international business and a minor in Spanish at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  He currently serves as treasurer of his homeowner’s association and as a landlord to his first rental property.  In his free time Kevin enjoys working on home renovation projects. He’s currently remodeling his second home! He also likes to kayak, travel, collect old paper money and binge watch Netflix on rainy days.
