What you love about the ASPH: I chose to pursue my degree with the Arnold School because I wanted to be a part of a tight-knit healthcare community. Everyone in the Arnold School is passionate about helping others and learning more about health care as a whole. I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do with my future career when I started college, but taking different classes and learning about different programs allowed me to find my specific interests and passion for Athletic Training. Majoring in Public Health allows me to decide my future goals, advance my career, and continue my education to earn a master’s degree.
Advice for future students: My advice to future students would be to not worry if you don’t know exactly what you want to pursue a career in. If you enjoy helping others change their behavior habits, get physically active, and maintain a safe environment, then you will fit in perfectly at the Arnold School. You have the ability to learn what you want and feel comfortable at the same time. The Arnold school has many opportunities for students to take advantage of like participating in research and studying abroad. You will feel free to pursue your passion, and the Arnold School will help you get there.
