By Abby Druckenmiller, English major

Adventure is a jasmine vine,
Curling up an ancient wall.
In seasons of prosperity,
She blooms and brags her beauty,
Saying here — look at my flowers.
Other times she wilts and weakens,
As winter and autumn always come,
And she curls in on herself,
Saying this is too hard, too cold, too fraught
Then spring dawns bright
reminding the vine of her spirit
And she starts climbing the wall anew.
In those moments, even she is unaware
Where she will end up.
