The UofSC Dance Program and the UofSC Board of Dance will present a virtual 
Dance Gala to commemorate the 45th anniversary of our USC Dance Company and
 the fifteenth year of the BA degrees in Performance/Choreography and Dance 
Education. Welcome address speakers will be Jan Jernigan, Gala Chair and Board
 President, and our newly appointed Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Joel
 Samuels.

This online streaming event serves as our annual fundraiser supporting scholarships for dance majors.  Included will be performances featuring many illustrious UofSC alumni and guest stars from throughout our history.  

This is a tremendous opportunity for you to have a major impact on the University 
of South Carolina Dance Program. Dance majors come to UofSC from across the 
United States and are auditioned biannually for entrance into the program. Dance
 Magazine recently honored the UofSC dance program as “one of the top three 
university programs to consider for classical ballet training.” Our annual fundraiser
 provides critical funding for scholarships, enabling us to attract and maintain the 
highest caliber dance students from around the nation.
