Transfer Partnership with Midlands Technical College

The University of South Carolina (USC) and Midlands Technical College (MTC) have partnered to create direct transfer tracks within specific majors, allowing MTC students to earn an associate degree prior to transferring to USC. MTC students who meet the admissions requirements for the University and for the academic major and who meet the application deadline are guaranteed admission to the University of South Carolina to continue their degree program.

Within each of the tracks below are guided maps of the course requirements at MTC and USC to track progress toward an associate degree from MTC and a bachelor degree from USC.  

 

Associate in Applied Science in Criminal Justice Technology to Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice

USC Transfer GPA requirements for Criminal Justice is 2.25 on all college-level coursework.
