Advisor Viewpoints

The University Advising Center believes advisors have an important role to play in shaping the direction of the organization. In addition to individual feedback, advisors are invited to serve on a number of committees and communities of practice. These committees and communities of practice facilitate peer-to-peer dialogue and collaboration among UAC advisors.

The UAC also aims to connect new UAAs with an advising mentor. UAA Mentors are seasoned advisors with at least one year of experience who help guide new UAAs' development and welcome them into the advising community.
