USC Lancaster reopened for in-person classes on August 20, 2020. Face coverings are required on-campus and social distancing is encouraged among members of the campus community. The semester will be offered in an accelerated format, with in-person instruction ending on Nov. 24. In addition, classes will be held on many traditional holidays and breaks to allow for the semester to end earlier than usual. Classes will be held remotely on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The USC Lancaster Bookstore will be closed to the public after Nov 25th. Curbside pick-up for returns and mail orders is available 11/30-12/18 from 10am-1pm Monday-Thursday. Park in the designated spaces on the Bradley Building side of Starr Hall and call 803-313-7050 when you arrive. Lancaster County Commission for Higher Education [PDF] (established 1959)

“The Commission shall have as its purpose the encouragement of higher education in Lancaster County and adjacent areas and, more specifically, the establishment in Lancaster County of facilities to offer standard freshman and sophomore college courses, and such other courses as deemed desirable.”

 

Educational Foundation of USC Lancaster [PDF] (established 1963)

The mission of the Educational Foundation of the University of South Carolina Lancaster is to solicit, receive, manage and disburse funds for the advancement of the interests of the University of South Carolina Lancaster.  It will support the Lancaster County Commission for Higher Education and the Administration at the Lancaster Campus.  Foundation funds will be used for student scholarships, faculty development, the building and maintenance of physical facilities on the campus and other needs that may become apparent in the future. 

 

USC Lancaster Board of Visitors [PDF] (established 2008; reorganized 2017)

The Board of Visitors shall assist the Trustees of the Educational Foundation of the University of South Carolina Lancaster and the Campus Dean in the overall advancement of the University of South Carolina Lancaster, and where appropriate, the greater Palmetto College. The Board of Visitors, with thorough information and staff support, will seek to enhance the image of the University of South Carolina Lancaster, Palmetto College, and the greater University of South Carolina system, to encourage alumni participation, invite public and private support, and facilitate internal and external communication.
