USC Lancaster reopened for in-person classes on August 20, 2020. Face coverings are required on-campus and social distancing is encouraged among members of the campus community. The semester will be offered in an accelerated format, with in-person instruction ending on Nov. 24. In addition, classes will be held on many traditional holidays and breaks to allow for the semester to end earlier than usual. Classes will be held remotely on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The USC Lancaster Bookstore will be closed to the public after Nov 25th. Curbside pick-up for returns and mail orders is available 11/30-12/18 from 10am-1pm Monday-Thursday. Park in the designated spaces on the Bradley Building side of Starr Hall and call 803-313-7050 when you arrive. Student Government Association

Officers and Student Representatives of the SGA are elected by the student body in two separate elections held in the fall and spring. Officers and representatives of the SGA work closely with the administration and faculty to represent student interests and viewpoints. The student body is composed of all registered students at the University of South Carolina Lancaster campus.

What We Do

The SGA provides various programs and functions throughout the year, charters clubs and organizations, and prepares, submits, and administers the budget for student clubs, organizations, publications, and athletics.

Meetings

SGA meetings are held on a weekly basis Thursdays at 12:00 pm. All students are welcomed to attend as observers. Contact Student Life for a link to the next meeting!

Spring 2021 Elections

Spring 2021 elections for SGA President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Senator will be held TBA . Applications are due by TBA before 5 PM to Starr Hall 106. To qualify for President or Vice-President, you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have completed 15 hours. Secretary and Treasurer should be Freshmen. Students will also vote on revisions made to the SGA constitution on TBA. The proposed revisions to the SGA Constitution can be found on this page.
