USC Lancaster reopened for in-person classes on August 20, 2020. Face coverings are required on-campus and social distancing is encouraged among members of the campus community. The semester will be offered in an accelerated format, with in-person instruction ending on Nov. 24. In addition, classes will be held on many traditional holidays and breaks to allow for the semester to end earlier than usual. Classes will be held remotely on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. The USC Lancaster Bookstore will be closed to the public after Nov 25th. Curbside pick-up for returns and mail orders is available 11/30-12/18 from 10am-1pm Monday-Thursday. Park in the designated spaces on the Bradley Building side of Starr Hall and call 803-313-7050 when you arrive. Summer Programs and Camps

Our summer programs and camps are designed to keep your kids engaged, even when they aren't in school. 

Swimming Lessons

Each summer several sessions of swim lessons are taught by American Red Cross Certified CPR-PR Lifeguard Staff at the Gregory Family YMCA.

 

Arts and Sciences Camp

This camp for rising sixth through ninth graders also includes a physical education component.

Upward Bound Summer Component

During this six week summer experience, students also have an opportunity to enroll in a college level course during summer school sessions. They may also enjoy field trips, live performances, on-campus activities, college visits, workshops on a variety of topics such as personal development and academic survival skills, English, foreign language, math, and science classes, and tutoring held one-on-one and/or in small groups.

Opportunity Scholars Early Start

This summer bridge pre-college entrance program is designed to help recent high school graduates make a smooth transition from high school to college.
