SC TEACHER holds 2026 Insights Symposium

On June 8–9, SC TEACHER hosted its annual Insights Symposium, centered on this year’s theme of Integrating Data to Strengthen Policy + Practice.

District leaders from across the state gathered to explore emerging data on South Carolina’s educator workforce and working conditions—accessing new findings from the inaugural administration of the SC Administrator Working Conditions Survey, and hearing perspectives from school and district administrators.

As SC TEACHER unveiled the new District Landscape, a streamlined, online platform for district administrators to access district-level survey data, attendees participated in interactive sessions, exploring and strategizing with their confidential survey results.

To dig deeper into survey findings, presenters from SC districts shared how they’re putting their results to work, unpacking data-informed strategies, alongside SC TEACHER researchers highlighting complementary analyses from the past year.

Attendees from across 34 South Carolina school districts contributed to key conversations throughout the symposium, including providing important input on which upcoming resources and future convenings could support their work most. With this third annual iteration, the SC TEACHER Insights Symposium continues to grow and shift to best serve South Carolina educators.
