Background

Hometown: Lexington, SC

About Me: I lived in the Republic of Korea for 12 years where I worked as an English language instructor. I love Japanese anime, especially series such as Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Bleach, and Violet Evergarden. My favorite flavor of ice cream is pistachio, and my favorite café drink is hot chocolate. For personal health, I try to walk an extra 30 minutes a day around my neighborhood, but I will gladly do any walk that makes a loop as well!

Favorite Quote: "Keep your face always toward the sunshine - and shadows will fall behind you." - Walt Whitman

Advice to Students: Post-secondary education is a truly transformative moment in our lives. We have an incredible amount of freedom to explore and discover the world and our place in it. As you wake up every day, think about the kind of person you want to become, the kinds of problems you want to solve, and the kind of legacy you want to leave behind. Then, go confidently, one step at a time. You can do it!

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
