USC Lancaster reopened for in-person classes on August 20, 2020. Face coverings are required on-campus and social distancing is encouraged among members of the campus community. The semester will be offered in an accelerated format, with in-person instruction ending on Nov. 24. In addition, classes will be held on many traditional holidays and breaks to allow for the semester to end earlier than usual. Classes will be held remotely on General Election Day (Nov. 3), Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Fall break will also be cancelled with face-to-face instruction being held on Oct. 15-16. Dr. Alhaddad started teaching at USC Lancaster in Fall 2006 after earning a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of North Texas. She continued to increase her qualifications and is currently cleared to teach 20 USCL courses in three subjects: Mathematics, Statistics and Management Science.

Dr. Alhaddad's research interests are mainly focused on combinatorics, matrix theory, linear algebra, groups and ordered algebraic structures. She has also worked with undergraduate students in questions related to optimization as well as creating Maplets for mathematical biology courses.

In her free time, Dr. Alhaddad enjoys exploring geometry through puzzles and fiber arts. She also enjoys spending time with her family.
