Bio

Primary employment is as a lieutenant with the Lancaster County Sheriff's Office. I am the district 3 commander and oversee all law enforcement functions in district 3, which includes the towns of Heath Springs and Kershaw. I have 23 years of law enforcement experience and multiple instructor certifications in many areas of expertise. I am a certified defensive tactics instructor, a certified hostage/crisis negotiator, a certified verbal de-escalation instructor, and one of only 5 Active Bystandership in Law Enforcement (ABLE) certified instructors in the state of SC to name a few.  I am also certified in active shooter incident response and scene management and work routinely with our training division on these type training events as well as helping with use of force trainings.
