USC Lancaster reopened for in-person classes on August 20, 2020. Face coverings are required on-campus and social distancing is encouraged among members of the campus community. The semester will be offered in an accelerated format, with in-person instruction ending on Nov. 24. In addition, classes will be held on many traditional holidays and breaks to allow for the semester to end earlier than usual. I have worked at USCL since Spring 2012 after earning my Masters of Science in Mathematics from UNCW. I have taught and currently teach Contemporary Mathematics, College Algebra, and Business Calculus. While at USCL I have earned 2 recognitions, USCL TRIO's Faculty of the Year for 2012-2013 and USCL Student Body Distinguished Teach of the Year Award, 2015-2016) for Math, Science, and Nursing Division. I volunteer my time with tutoring Upward Bound students in USCL Trio's Program, presenting at TRIO's Early Start Program, serving on different committees at USCL, and a board member for Communities in School. My hobbies include hiking, camping, board games, photography, and cooking.
