Spirit

Gamecock spirit is a constant throughout life at South Carolina. There's an infectious pride that radiates in Gamecocks of all ages from our littlest fans to longtime alumni.

While spirit-based images are an important part of student life, they shouldn’t be a visually dominant photographic feature. These images should be used where appropriate, not as an automatic default.

Spirit photos are mostly used for athletics, admissions, student life and alumni relations. We can show Gamecock spirit in other ways as well: through warm smiles and moments of support and friendship.

Accessible Photos

Images must be accessible to those with low vision and those using assistive technology. To make your images accessible, follow the university's alternative text guidelines
