The School of Library and Information Science will participate in the CareerEco virtual fair for veterans on Oct. 13, 2015.
The virtual fair will introduce veterans to graduate opportunities provided by the Post-9/11 GI Bill®. The event offers a convenient and efficient way to investigate graduate programs in a real-time setting that provides veterans with instant feedback to their most pressing questions.
“Veterans have given so much to our country through their service, and we want to give back to them by supporting their educational goals,” said Tilda Reeder, graduate admissions coordinator for the school. Reeder will be available online from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. EST.
The virtual fair is free. Veterans interested in participating must register online . A computer and internet connection are the only tools required to attend.
The University of South Carolina is one of 50 Yellow Ribbon schools participating in the virtual fair.
