My UofSC story cannot be defined by one moment or one person; it has been built by a community of influential professors, advisors,  peers and experiences, which is a huge part of what makes this school so special.

Career plans: Broadly, in the short term, I want to step into the business world in a role where I can combine my technical background, desire to problem-solve, and passion for working with others. Long-term, I would love to take a wide breadth of business experience and step into a managerial role in a non-profit organization to help drive impactful change in the world.

Most impactful experience: Some of my most impactful experiences in college have come from different job and internship opportunities that have shown me what I enjoy doing, how to connect my passions to work, what I don't like to do and that it is okay to pivot on the path you are taking.

Best part of the Top Scholars program: The most enjoyable part of being a Top Scholar is the community the program provides. Over the past four years, I have taken on college with bright, passionate and driven individuals who have fostered such a collaborative and supportive environment to learn and grow in.

UofSC Story: My UofSC story cannot be defined by one moment or one person; it has been built by a community of influential professors, advisors,  peers and experiences, which is a huge part of what makes this school so special. It started with sitting next to Jan Smoak at Scholar Weekend, to an application to be a college tour guide, to following up on a professor's open door offer, to saying yes to quite a few opportunities that scared me, to changing my career path, to enjoying the moments along the way, to being ready to leave but sad to go. Get to know those around you, be vulnerable, challenge your thought processes, stay strong in your convictions, embrace new experiences, step outside of your comfort zone, learn, and grow. These past four years have been evident to me that the University of South Carolina is a great place to do so.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
