About this Fellowship
One-year research assistantship at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, DC.
Each year the Endowment offers approximately 15 one-year fellowships to uniquely qualified graduating seniors and recent graduates (applicants cannot have begun graduate studies). Positions available vary from year to year, but may be available in areas such as Democracy, American Statecraft, Technology and International Affairs, Russia and Eurasia, Middle East, East Asia, Africa, Energy and Climate, International Security, and Nuclear Policy. Up to three students may be nominated by USC per year.
Applicants should have completed a significant amount of coursework related to their discipline of interest. Language and other skills may also be required for certain assignments. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US during the entire fellowship year (non-citizens with an F-1 visa are eligible).
Students must be nominated by USC. Applications must be requested from our office, and generally are available in early October. Contact us for this year's information.
Award Value
$43,000 for the year, plus a relocation stipend and benefits package.
