About this Fellowship

Legally blind college students can apply for a variety of scholarships based on academic excellence, community service, and leadership with one application.

Deadlines are typically in March, but be sure to check the competition website for the current cycle’s deadline.

In addition to a scholarship, each winner will receive assistance to attend the National Federation of the Blind Annual Convention, held annually in July, providing an excellent opportunity for high-level networking with active blind persons in many different professions and occupations.

Applicants must be a resident of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico


Award Value

Awardees receive $8,000 in funding.
