About this Fellowship
This fellowship provides scholarships, useful resources, and unique opportunities to outstanding students looking to pursue graduate education in the atmospheric or related sciences.
Deadlines are typically in January, but be sure to check the competition website for the current cycle’s deadline.
Prospective candidates from the fields of atmospheric sciences, chemistry, computer sciences, engineering, environmental sciences, hydrology, mathematics, oceanography, and physics are encouraged to apply. The Society also encourages applications from women, minorities, and disabled students, traditionally underrepresented in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hydrologic sciences.
Award Value
Fellowship recipients will receive a $25,000 stipend for a nine-month period in the academic year and partial travel support to attend the AMS Annual Meeting.
