About this Fellowship
This is a summer program taking place in Atlanta, GA focusing specifically on race and civil rights, immigration, and Native American issues.
Deadlines are typically in January, but be sure to check the competition website for the current cycle’s deadline.
Fellows in the John Lewis Fellowship will attend discussions with renowned scholars and activists at The National Center for Civil and Human Rights, visit historical sites around Atlanta and engage in discussions on a range of political and social issues. They will also contribute to the Center's outreach initiatives. Students from American universities will learn alongside Fellows from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands and Poland.
Award Value
This award covers the costs of participation and accommodation during the fellowship period. Air fare is not covered unless documented need is provided.
