About this Fellowship
Provides funding for a year of master’s study at the University of Cambridge, based at Churchill College, in the physical and natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering.
The program was set up at the request of Sir Winston Churchill in order to fulfil his vision of US–UK scientific exchange with the goal of advancing science and technology on both sides of the Atlantic, helping to ensure our future prosperity and security. The fellowship funds up to 18 scholarships per year, comprised of 16 Churchill Scholarships in science, mathematics, and engineering, and two Kanders Churchill Scholarships in science policy.
Selection criteria include academic excellence, proven talent in research, and outstanding personal qualities.
Applicants must apply for university nomination. USC can nominate two students per cycle. Contact our office by the campus deadline to enter the application process if you are interested in applying for nomination.
