About this Fellowship
The DDETFP is a one-year award from the Department of Transportation to support master's or doctoral study related to transportation in a wide range of disciplines, including engineering, physical and social sciences, and business.
Applicants must enroll or be enrolled fulltime in a graduate degree program, conduct research on transportation, and intend to pursue a transportation-related career. All modes of transportation are eligible for study. The annual notice of funding opportunity is posted in grants.gov.

Award Value
Provides up to $35,500: $10,000 for tuition and fees, $1,500 for required conference, and monthly stipend ($1,700 master's/$2,000 doctoral).
