About this Fellowship
Two-year opportunity for recently graduated MD/PhDs and other health professionals to conduct research and participate in clinical care in the Minneapolis VA Health Care System.
The Center for Care Delivery and Outcomes Research Advanced Fellowship in Health Services Research (CCDOR-HSR) from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs fellowship provides two years of training for eligible physicians, associated health or nursing professionals, and those with a PhD or equivalent in health services research, public health, the social sciences, statistics, bioscience, or related fields. Applicants must have completed their degrees prior to the start of the fellowship.
Fellows spend approximately 75% of their time in research and education and 25% in clinical care (or health care system improvement activities for non-clinicians) at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System.
PhD applicants must apply by mid-December each year. MD applicants may apply at any time. Refer to program website for details.
Award Value
Fellows receive a salary based on years since graduation.
