Supports undergraduate study, senior thesis research, and/or internships in Germany for up to a 10 month period.
The goal of the program is to support study abroad in Germany and at German universities. Preference will be given to students whose projects or programs are based at and organized by a German university. Scholarships are available either as part of an organized study abroad program or as part of an individual, student-designed study abroad semester or year.
Please note: Students applying for the DAAD must also complete the USC Study Abroad Application due to the Study Abroad Office. The deadline for doing so is March 1 (Feb 15 for programs that begin in the summer) for fall or academic year programs. If your program begins the following spring, you must meet their Oct. 1 deadline in the year you will be studying abroad. See link to Forms and Applications at sc.edu/studyabroad
Award Value
€650 monthly stipend for up to 10 months of study, plus additional funds for travel, research expenses, and health insurance.
