MHR students have the opportunity to interact with the Riegel and Emory Human Resources
Advisory Board, which consists of top executives in the field of human resources management,
government and labor. The board provides input on curriculum, employment opportunities
and course content.
Riegel and Emory Advisory Board helps MHR students by:
Hiring graduates of the MHR program and other programs from the Moore School
Providing financial support for research activities, scholarships or administrative
Providing advice on research programs
Participating in Advisory Board sessions
Assisting in recruiting potential students
Collaborating on research projects of mutual interest
Engaging in creative thinking about the future of human resources to help align the
curriculum and research initiatives with the needs of the profession
MHR professors Patrick Wright and Anthony Nyberg are both leading researchers for
the Center for Executive Succession. The center provides a forum for corporate leaders
to shape the future strategic direction of succession practices, which is increasingly
one of the board's top governance priorities. Our partners have the opportunity to
contribute to sound research that challenges the status quo and is empirically driven
