Available to graduating seniors, graduate students and recent alumni to conduct research, pursue advanced study, practice a creative art or undertake teaching assistantships for one year in a foreign country. Supports one year of research, study, or teaching English abroad. Travel and living expenses provided.
This program provides funding for individual doctoral students who conduct research in other countries, in modern foreign languages and area studies for periods of six to 12 months. Provides an average of $46,000 of support for up to one year of dissertation research abroad.
Supports research in anthropology and anthropologically-focused research in related disciplines such as archaeology and linguistics. Up to $25,000 for anthropology fieldwork research anywhere in the world.
