The University of South Carolina will hold several pre-commencement events to celebrate the winter 2020 graduation milestone. The events will include "Last Night Carolina", an evening street festival to be held on Wednesday, November 18, 4-6 p.m. and photo-ops with President Caslen on November 20th, 23rd and 24th.
The Winter 2020 Virtual Commencement ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at 3p.m. and will be available to view live at sc.edu/commencement. Last Night Carolina
When: Wednesday, Nov. 18, 4–6 p.m. (Rain date is Friday, Nov. 20)
Where: Greene Street, Davis Field and Russell House Patio
Join the Class of 2020 for Last Night Carolina, an evening festival celebrating your milestone accomplishment! Grab your face covering and head toward the center of campus for outdoor fun including live music by DJ iAM, cake, hot cider and hot chocolate, photo ops, special guests and celebratory fireworks. Park free in the Bull Street Garage.
Capacity is limited due to social distancing and COVID-19 protocols. Graduates should R.S.V.P. through Garnet Gate.
Photo-Ops with President Caslen
Photo opportunities with President Caslen will be available three times in the Russell
House second floor lobby, just before Thanksgiving break. Wear a face covering and
follow social distancing requirements to keep everyone safe.
- Friday, November 20 @ 2:30-3:30 p.m.
- Monday, November 23 @ 3:30-4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, November 24 @ 4-5 p.m.
