I, Associate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion Deborah Hazzard, and all at the Darla Moore School of Business stand in solidarity with the Association of African American Students (AAAS) at the University of South Carolina following the unconscionable behavior of individuals who invaded AAAS’s year-end celebration on April 24.  

The racist language and stereotypical depictions were disgusting and divisive and undermine the Carolinian Creed with its commitment to an inclusive and unified USC. 

All at the Moore School will continue to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school and Gamecock community and reject the despicable racist acts of the unknown individuals at your event.
