Background
Matt Souther is an associate professor of finance at the Darla Moore School of Business. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2014. He previously was an assistant professor of finance at the University of Missouri.

Professor Souther’s research focuses on corporate governance, boards of directors, and shareholder voting.
