UofSC’s Center for Applied Business Analytics to host forum for business analytics professionals May 14

The Center for Applied Business Analytics at the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business will hold a virtual event May 14 to bring together leading practitioners and academics in the business analytics field for the Applied Analytics Forum 2021: Return to Data.

According to event organizers, the purpose of the event is to evaluate data science, advance the analytics discipline and push the boundaries of what’s possible in business analytics. This year’s theme, “Return on Data,” will discuss the value that analytics creates in different industries. Analytics professionals from top organizations including Axis Group, Catalina, Prisma Health, TIAA, ECS, Mercedes-Benz, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Chick-fil-A and others will speak at the event.

The 2021 Applied Analytics Forum will be held virtually on Zoom from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. May 14 and is free and open to the public. Register and learn more at sc.edu/moore/aaf.
