The College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management is home to a variety of student-run organizations that help students grow personally and professionally.     Club Management Association of America

    The university chapter of this national organization is dedicated to helping students interested in a career in club management. The club provides members with access to events and activities such as field trips to golf and country clubs, guest speakers, regional meetings and participation in national CMAA events.

    Collegiate DECA at USC

    This business-minded organization prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. Students compete for top international honors in one of 25 different competitions, including retail management, event planning, hotel and lodging, restaurant and foodservice management, travel and tourism, fashion merchandising and marketing, and sports and entertainment marketing.     This academic honor society recognizes exceptional achievement among hospitality and tourism students. Eta Sigma Delta is administered by the international association and is devoted to hospitality and tourism education.

    Fashion Board

    Fashion Board at USC is a student organization committed to helping its members achieve both personal and professional growth in the fashion, beauty and retail industries through collaborations with local retailers and hands-on fashion-related experiences. Each spring, Fashion Board proudly hosts USC Fashion Week, which includes industry guest speakers, a student designer showcase, and a runway finale show. Fashion Board is open to students of all majors and members meet every other Wednesday evening. To become an official member, you must pay dues.

    The HRSM Global Community club is a community of international and American students dedicated to cross cultural awareness. Cultural inclusion and dialogue among students of different nations will promote and enhance international cooperation in the College of HRSM. Students in this club will become more effective communicators and leaders. Cultural awareness and intercultural friendships will be fostered through this club to promote growth, success, and networking.

    HRSM underREPRESENTED is a student organization catering to HRSM students seeking to advance their skills and professional development through inclusive roundtables and events.

    HRTM Planners

    HRTM Planners is a combination of two professional student organizations, Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and Meeting Planners International (MPI). It provides education, networking and job opportunities to all hospitality and tourism management students interested in event planning.

    The Restaurant & Lodging Association is a new club on campus open to all majors that strives to help students explore the restaurant and hotel industry both professionally and creatively. Our mission is to provide students with opportunities that will advance their knowledge of the industry and prepare them to succeed!

    Sigma Psi Mu is a co-ed professional fraternity for sport and entertainment management majors, founded at the University of South Carolina. It strives to grow its membership through professional development, social bonding, and real-world networking opportunities. Sigma Psi Mu provides benefits not only to its members, but all University of South Carolina SPTE students, staff, and faculty.

    Graduate students in the department of sport and entertainment management can network with fellow graduate students, faculty and industry leaders to make the most out of their student experience.

    Sports Analytics Club

    Three College of HRSM students with a passion for numbers formed the Sports Analytics Club in fall 2022. Guest speakers attend meetings and the club takes trips to conferences such as the Society for American Baseball Research in an effort to further develop members' interest in analytics and the role they play in the sports industry.

    Theme Park and Attractions Club

    Get an inside look at how theme parks and attractions are operated and managed. The club hosts guest speakers, takes field trips and discusses different topics at bi-weekly meetings which enhance club members' understanding of the industry.

    Formed in fall 2022 by two College of HRSM students, the Women in Sport and Entertainment Club is a student-led organization that aims to shape tomorrow's female leaders in the sport and entertainment industries.
