The University of South Carolina's College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management offers bachelor's degrees and graduate degrees in hospitality management, tourism management, retailing, and sport and entertainment management.
The hospitality management degree is designed to prepare students for leadership positions in the hospitality industry, including hotel, resort, restaurant, event and club management. Students can specialize in meeting and event management, food and beverage management, hotel and resort management and tourism management. A degree concentration in club management is also available.
The retailing degree offers two distinct areas of concentration: retail management, and fashion merchandising and digital innovations. The retailing major prepares students with a strong foundation of business curriculum and specialized training in the latest technology and strategies for careers in sales, e-commerce, fashion and apparel, store management, product marketing, entrepreneurship and more.
The sport and entertainment management degree is one of the top programs in the country, and is the largest program of its kind. Our alumni have successful careers in all sectors of the industry, including professional sport, college athletics, live entertainment, facility operations, festival management, esports, and more. The degree program offers areas of concentration in entertainment management, sport management, and venue and event management, as well as an option to graduate with leadership distinction in the undergraduate research track.
The degree in tourism management prepares students for global careers, including destination marketing, attraction management, festival planning and promotion, conventions and conferences, sustainable tourism and a wide variety of jobs in hospitality and travel-related industries. The major combines business fundamentals with strategies and specialized experience for building visitor-based businesses.
The interdisciplinary studies and services management degree is designed for nontraditional students who want a flexible program that combines their previous experience and college credits with their interest in hospitality, tourism, retail, sport or entertainment management. This degree can be completed on campus or online.
The master's degree in international hospitality and tourism management provides a comprehensive study of the many facets of these global industries. Flexibility both in curriculum and in degree requirements allows you to design a program of study tailored to your personal career goals.
Our Master of Retail Innovation graduate degree provides advanced knowledge in three core areas: strategic leadership, emerging retail technologies, and data analytics.

The College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management offers accelerated degree options that allow students to graduate with their bachelor's and master's degree in less time. Any University of South Carolina undergraduate student who has completed at least 90 hours of undergraduate coursework and has a minimum GPA of 3.4 (overall as well as in their undergraduate major) is eligible to participate.
